"Duat Polyphemus was born from a vision of a moth with an eye in the center. The Moth of Death. Moths represent death across many cultures and have for centuries. Some folklore associated a moth flying through the front door of a home to mean death will soon enter. For me, moths are welcome friends. Death is a complex transformation, and initiation through a portal into another experience. Death is required for life to be born, and as energy is never destroyed - only transformed - we are reborn in our transformations and deaths. The deaths of old selves, of old timelines. Death and transFORMation was on my consciousness as Duat Polyphemus was born."
